It may seem impossible to prove that you contracted COVID-19 at work because you may not show symptoms or test positive for days or weeks after you were actually exposed. An insurance company may argue that you were just as likely to be exposed running personal errands as while working when a direct cause cannot be pinpointed. Our office can work with you to establish your claim to prove you were at an elevated risk in your workplace.  This may require taking testimony from you and your employer to establish your job duties, the extent of contact with the public and/or contact with someone to have a known COVID-19 diagnosis. This may also include medical testimony from doctors about your diagnosis and exposure risk. This process can be stressful and overwhelming without legal assistance. Contact our office and we can explain the process and describe what service we can provide for you to help establish your claim.
