There are various options for assistance and relief available, including paid leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and assistance for individuals and small businesses under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. In addition, there are numerous ongoing developments that businesses need to remain aware of when it comes to labor and employment matters, employee benefits matters, and workers’ compensation claims related to COVID-19.

Applicable governmental agencies (including the Department of Labor, the Treasury Department, the IRS and the SBA) are regularly issuing guidance with respect to these programs and requirements. We understand that the amount of information out there regarding COVID-19 matters and the rate at which the applicable rules and requirements are changing can be overwhelming. HH&K is here to help.
